MSI Motherboard Questions!!!

MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum says it suppots 1000fsb. I don't understand. there arent any 1000 fsb athons right? Is this just for future ones? Also If I choose to buy the OEM of this from newegg it says it wont come with any accessories. Does that include the Drivers and Utilities CD that comes with it? If it doesnt come with that cd is it possible for me to get all that stuff that was on that cd from the MSI website by downloading it?

Hey MBrown,
If the OEM motherboard doesn't come with the drivers and utilities CD you can always download them from MSI's website. In fact, I hardly ever use the drivers that ship with products anyway. It's always better to go download the latest drivers and utilities. MSI's liveupdate tool should point you to the software you need for your motherboard model. Since the board is OEM remember that the warranty probably won't be as good and you will not get any cables or other accessories with the board. If the retail board is not much more I would go ahead and just get it.

1000FSB stand for the HTT, Hyper tranport technology which in this board runs @200(CPU FSB)x5
