Msi Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon vs Gigabyte gaming 7 and AsRock Taichi (Power Draw and Temps)

I was reading Toms Hardware Review for MSI Carbon and I found the Mobo values for power draw and temperature.

Msi draws so much less power.... And the temperatures for MSI is much lower too.
Even though the MSI has worse VRMs according to this VRM tier list

Does anyone have an explanation?
Notice that all features are enabled.

Could be something like differences in default bios options (AVX offset, MCT/MCE, LLC).

Ya, tom's mobo testing isn't consistent. For sure it's to do with MCE settings, there is no way 1 mobo can draw an extra ~50w over another using identical CPU settings.
