MSVCP60.DLL was not found.

Hi,
This moring my computer started up just fine...I checked email and stuffs before I go to school. This afternoon when I came back ready to get on Anandtech and found my computer is not responding. I restarted, and when the pop-up said the application can't start due to "MSVCP60.DLL was not found and I should reinstall the application may fix this problem which shocked me. Here is the problem; I didn't install any program/application within this week. I aslo tried safe mode but the same message appeared in safe mode and it won't go on. I'm ran out of idea. Please help me out. Thanks

You might want to get the hard drive manufacturers diagnostics program and see if your drive is going bad, which is a possible way files could become corrupt.

Putting your drive in another system with the same OS and copying that file into your windows\system32 folder may work, but my guess would be something more than a single missing file has happened.

The next option after that would be to try a repair install of windows.
