Make sure you put in your email address (or the email address of the miniteam you are cracking for). If you are cracking under your own email addy, then after you've dumped your first block, you should get an email from DNet in the next day or so. After that, you can be fully registered and join the team and also track your progress daily on DNet. Remember that joining a team doesn't happen automatically if you are not cracking for a miniteam, so if you are cracking as an individual, make sure and join Team AnandTech if you want your blocks to count for the team.

If you have decided to join a miniteam, let us know which and we will direct you to what address you should use for your proxy. If you've not joined a miniteam but are cracking on your own, then you should set your proxy address to proxy.teamanandtech.com ... doing so will enable you to see your own stats updated every 30 minutes throughout the day.

Whatever the case, it's cool that you're putting your machines to work.

Huh? Get DPC in trouble with DNET? Am I missing something? I just flushed a portion of my completed work to DNET..... Why would that get DPC in trouble with DNET? Is there a rule or something with regard to how much you can flush in any given day? If there is, then I was not aware of it and screwed up

Can someone tell me what the daily flush limit is then? I'll hold off on flushing large files for now.....

There isn't any set flushing limit, but d.net don't like people to do big flushes as it bogs down their servers. The DPC have been getting into trouble in their forum for doing their megaflushes and have been asked to stop. But you just did a megaflush for DPC when d.net is not very happy with them, and you could have got them into more trouble. So tagej, it might be a good idea to talk to some of the experenced people in the DC forum before you do any more megaflushes, as Team Anandtech could get in trouble the same way that the DPC have.
