EVERBODY JUST CALM DOWN....
It now appears house democrats are indeed preparing to begin the impeachment hearings process.
You can tell from the people house democrats are asking to appear, then by the subpoenas they issue when the people refuse.
A two-step legal maneuver by the house necessary to start the impeachment process and to lay the ground work the house will then follow during impeachment.
Every individual the house will want to question, every document the house will need to collect, will have a link.
Individual, followed with matching subpoena. Document, followed with matching subpoena. One-two, one-two.
This way, using the formal impeachment process, the house can and will get the people they need and the documents they need.
And Donald Trump nor his lawyers can not anything to stop that.
No doubt.... Donald can and will attempt to force the courts into the process, simply as an delay tactic if for no other reason, and Donald can legally try this stunt, but the result will not be as Donald expects.
The courts are barred from getting involved in an impeachment, but Donald will take that question itself to the courts.
And the courts might play along but not to the extent Donald would hope. The court, if they get involved in any way, the court will fast track every Trump assertion presented.
In short, there will be no delaying process Donald desperately needs.
Donald will try to challenge the very issue of impeachment to the court, and the court will either reject the challenge or fast-track every decision. No long lengthly legal process spreading out months or years.
Donald will bring his challenge, and the court will then decide within minutes, not in days, not in months, not in years.
What impeachment will provide house democrats, and provide the entire country as well, are the answers.
Answers to all the questions everyone would like to know and need to know about Donald Trump. Questions of what Trump knew, when Trump knew it, who was involved, and how that impacted the 2016 election.
Was there collusion? Was there a coverup? Were people told to lie? Were people fired to stop investigations?
All that and more can be answered using the impeachment process and only the impeachment process. No other way.
House democrats now fully realize this, And so the process will now take shape.
Will take place soon enough to catch Donald Trump entirely off guard.
This should be a very fun to watch...... I'm excited.
