This whole situation makes me so angry. White people love talking about us so fucking much when one black person does something...ALL of us are considered the fucking same. You talk shit about what we do and don't value like you actually have a clue what we feel on an individual level. There are constant threads on why Black People do X or why Black People think Y, etc.

But, when a white person does something, he/she is always a lone wolf and their behaviors are not indicative of white culture or white values. Fuck this whole situation. Your dicks get so hard when a black person kills a white person or when a black kid gets shot, you can't wait to dive in with the character assasinations...but when white people kill.....lets discuss their mental state and how we can't jump to conclusions about this shit being race motivated.

I think pretty much everyone here can agree the guy was racist, with racist motivations, so pretending people haven't said that is dishonest.

Furthermore, you seem disinterested in questioning the mental state of a person who shoots 9 people, and instead blaming it on his race. But while screaming out white people's hypocrisy, you don't realize you just showed your own, since I'm sure you hate the idea that black people kill in large numbers due to being black, but no problem blaming this on him being white with "white values".

So, at least be consistent. If blacks don't kill because it's part of their nature, whites don't kill because it's part of theirs.

This guy was mentally ill. AND he was racist. Racism alone doesn't prompt the killing of 9 people. Does it? If it does, holy shit, racism is damn near solved in the US because the last race-based mass shooting was like, I can't remember when.

There are millions upon millions of white people in the US and a handful of mass shootings per year by these whites.

If you are so intent on blaming this on the fact the guy by being white is inherently prone to violence, you might want to be more careful.

You think it is sarcasm because it is so offensive. I thought the same initially too until I saw post 243.

By the way anyone think that the two most commented on stories this week are oddly related?

In one case we have a woman who feels alienated from white people and enthusiastically embraces people of African ethnicity and even lies and claims to be African-American herself, blackface/tanning oil and all.

In another we have a kid who probably felt lost and in search of an identity; he was described as a loner etc. Apparently he wound up seeking his identity within his racial background and hating black people. I guess it made him feel better about himself.

In both cases the person sought an identity for himself or herself and targeted the African-American community--in vastly different ways.

The only relationship I can see is the media and their sensationalist journalism. Interesting how you lapped it up just like they intended. It's no wonder why they keep doing it.

They are bringing up the racial issue because it appears to be THE ENTIRE REASON HE TARGETED THOSE PARTICULAR PEOPLE. It's not sensationalizing it, it's reporting the crime accurately. If the media was not mentioning this prominently they would be negligent in their reporting.

I have no idea why this board is ALWAYS attempting to downplay the effects of racism even in super blatantly obvious cases like this one. I seriously can't remember a single case involving Hispanics or black people, no matter how obvious, where conservatives on here have just said "yeah, that's really racist, no question about it." There is always an attempt to mitigate or deny.

The US has a huge racism problem. Sometimes it comes out in things like this. That's something everyone just needs to accept.
