Multiple Game Controllers = Problems?

win2k sp2
ecs k7vta3 (ver 2)
upto date bios and via 4 in 1's

he would like to put a microsoft sidewinder force feedback wheel / pedal combination (USB) on the computer, it has a CH Products Virtual Pilot Pro Flight Yoke With Throttle / pedal combo (GAMEPORT). will there be any problems? i cant see why, but if somebody else has this setup let me know how it went. is it okay to have multiple game controllers that are going in the gameport and also usb at the same time?

I had the Microsoft FF steering wheel (gameport) and Logitech Extreme 3d flightstick (USB), and the only time the joystick would work was if the wheel was unplugged. I've recently switched to the Microsoft Sidewinder steering wheel (USB) and both the flightstick and the wheel are both recognized in all games at the same time...I'm not sure what your results will be, but I'm just letting you know mine...oh yeah, Win 98 SE....

My experience is that most games emumerate the input devices attached. Then they blindly pick the first one they find.

You might be able to renumber the IDs on your controllers in the control panel, but that doesn't seem to always work. Your milage may vary. When in doubt, unplug.
