My school has a flight simulator flight yolk / cockpit console that runs off some old 400mhz machine. It has its own monitor that sits on top. Right next to it is a 1.4GHz Pentium IV, so I was thinking I could get a good graphics card for it and plug it up to the simulator's monitor. Is there some sort of switchbox that would allow one to switch between the regular monitor and the simulator monitor? Would this create a problem if the monitors were different?
I was looking at an ATi Radeon card, I could use dual-head hydravision for this, but isn't that overkill because both do not need to be in use at once?
