Hi to everyone, I am new to this forums and i take the oportunity to salute everyone

I ggot an MSI 980 GTX 4G card and because i have started to study Unreal Engine i need more space; Actually i have an Philips 40'' display working an 4k/60Hz and i thought on getting another one.
Would my card drive those two without problems?
Aside of that i have an ASUS 27'' in use actually at 1080
If the answer to the first question is yes, Could i use that one too. The card has 3 Dp 1.2 + 1 HDM + 1 DVI-I connectors

Thanks for your help aforehead, Ricardo

You shouldn't have any problems. I was driving a 4k/60hz, 1440p and a 1080p on my old 780.

Yes you should be able to drive 2 4k monitors and a 1080p with ease. Just don't expect good gaming performance on it

I can only speak from "partial" experience, and I agree with ddogg. I have a single desktop gaming monitor and an HDTV connection. The same setup involved a single GTX 780 card, just like ddogg. That configuration was replaced with 2x SLI GTX 970's -- the two monitors connected to one card, as directed by NVidia for multi-monitor. Another system with a GTX 1070 also has the same two connections: desktop gaming monitor plus HDTV.

As I understood it before, you could drive as many as three monitors from a single NVidia card in the generational models mentioned here and by ddogg. [I can't remember if the documentation points to three or four, but three? Definitely.]

It doesn't matter what ports you choose. My BenQ XL2420Z has VGA, DVI, 2x HDMI and DP. All of my NVidia cards have DVI, HDMI and DP. I use every combination of connections as needed in a multi-PC, multi-monitor setup. For the BenQ, two PCs operate through a DVI/USB KVM switch, and a third one is connected directly to the BenQ. The BenQ acts as its own "V" for KVM, so I can use the monitor to switch between the DVI/KVM and the direct PC-to-HDMI connection. The HDTV is connected directly to two computers via long HDMI cables -- switchable at my Onkyo AVR which passes on to the HDTV.

You will discover that connecting two monitors to a single PC and graphics adapter which are active and operating simultaneously will increase the power-state of the graphics adapter. The GPU will run warmer as a result, and power-level may appear constantly at between 30 and 40%.

Thaks BonzaiDuck,
i am studying Unreal Engine4 and i need as much real state as possible, i currently have an Asus 27'/1080p and a Philips 40'/4k and i thought on buying a second Philips 40''.
I currently have that setup (asus + philips 40'') and the video card doesn't even blink, normally, by MSI Fan Control application, the fans normally doesn't turn and the load is 25% (not runnig UE4). I will chech the documentation about a fortht monitor (a cheap one for word or PDFs i use while studying
Aside of that, in order to achieve 4K/60Hz the Dp ports must be used, but not trouble because the card has three of them
Thakns a lot for you help

Also, I think I came across an indication that you could obtain a "DisplayPort Hub" connecting the PC to two or three monitors. Not knowing much more, I would investigate that possibility.
