I have a question about CPU multipliers. This is something that I have never understood or has not been explained to me. I am looking ahead to a new system based on either a SIS 655 or a Granite Bay. I plan to use either a 2.4 or 2.66. The 2.4 is 18 and the 2.66 is 20. If I overclock to 150 fsb, the 2.4 is now 2.70 and the 2.66 is now 3.00. How is it that the 2.4 is a better choice because the multiplier is lower than the 2.66?? Can someone explain this to me.
