She just has that go-getter attitude, mixed with having learned how to win the attention of nerds and gamers, as that's how she rose to prominence/fame.

So now it's just part of her shtick since it's become so ingrained for quite a few years now.

I wouldn't think it's fake though - exaggerating herself, I reckon, but she's probably that way naturally, to a lesser degree however.

I liked her both in Parks & Rec as well as that time travel movie with the grumpy guy from New Girl & the taller new age birthing brother from The Mindy Project. Only just remembered she was a daily show consultant, guess that was forgettable.

But agree she probably could not pull off wonder woman, unless it's shot ironically.

I only know her from the Daily Show. She really, really flopped. And if you can't do the Daily Show I don't think you're a gifted funny person, that show has outlets for all types of comedy.
