I am having issues with my left arm bicep and forearm tightening up and cramping big time during workout. It's so bad and it happens every workout that it's severely limiting my workouts. I've researched and found the following reasons for why:
1) Dehydration - I drink more than the recommended daily intake of water. I take sips of water between sets. I even eat a banana before work out. Doesn't help.
2) Stretching - I stretch before and during workout. Massaging the bicep helps temporarily until I do my next set and it comes back again.
3) Over-exertion - I have no issue nor struggling curling a certain amount of weight. But once the tightness comes, I can't even curl 10 lbs because my bicep would tighten up really bad with my forearm that I can't get a tight grip on the dumb bells. It's THAT bad.
So what else can it be?
