Mushkin eXtreme Performance RAM

Hi. I am building a new PC and I was going to purchase 1GB of this Mushkin RAM. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146396 It is DDR500, and from what I've heard, Mushkin is top quality. Anyway, I was just wondering if this stuff will work well in my potential system.

Opteron 146
Mushkin eXtreme Performance 1GB (2GB later)

As you can tell, I plan on doing some oc'ing. Will I be happy with this RAM? Will it oc well? I need to know in the next day because the mail-in rebate ends the 2nd.

That is some superb RAM that should work like a mofo in your DFI (Personally, if money was no limit, that'd be the exact stuff i'd be buying)

Good choice on buying a single GB dimm, since that better allows you to add a second GB as soon as you can afford it.

Damn that's a good price. I ordered the 2gig dual kit for $239 a couple of days ago. Link Wish I had know about the rebate on the single sticks, coulda saved $60.

I have never had any problems with Mushkin Cus Support. If you have 1 error in memtest, they send you a new stick. If you bought directly from Mushkin, they ship first. If you bought from newegg or other places, you ship defective chips back first.

Actually the savings are only of $30,00. The rebate info specifies i rebate per household. Unless off course, someone living somewhere else wants to give you as gift.
