Mushkin Promo Build

I ordered 2x256 of the 222 promo build. I'm getting ready to upgrade my system. The order arrived two days ago, but I have not checked them out yet. Trying to decide on a new nForce2 mobo to put them into. Considering the Abit NF7-S, Asus A7N8X Deluxe, Epox 8RDA+ and the Biostar M7NCDP.

The Mushkin Promo Build that I received have a green PCB and black heatspreaders. The P/N is the same as Pugnax and dirtrat, 991050.

The sticks I got do 200MHz at 2-5-2, CAS2 at 2.77v on an 8RDA+. Rock on. Thanks for the deal.

Wow, that sucks, you got a hi-perf one and has errors. Lucky to get a hi-perf, I bet you can get that one exchanged for another hi-perf black. Don't they test each one before sending them out?

Installed mine the other day and it registers as CL 2225 at 2.5 volts. I don't have a MB that can test these at 200 mhz but so far so good. BTW, mine have green PCB and black heat spreader.

Hmm thought they sent the wrong kind. I was correct they are black boards silver heat spreaders.:gift:

They will run 400 at 6-2-2-2 have not tried 5-2-2-2

The CPU me thinks will not run 200Mhz but runs well @ 166 and memory is 5-2-2-2 from Eprom!!!

I have bought Mushkin before but their price was to high after that. They replaced that 1 stick or 3 that was bad and sent a T-Shirt that was like 3 years ago.

That stick was PC133 128megs and it took 3 sticks to find the right kind for that motherboard. All in all a good Company too bad the 89.00 is not the regular
price or I would jump on that like>>>>>> well you know.:beer:

Well, not $79.00 for the Promo, they don't have that any more. That stuff isn't quite as good but that is a good price.

I got mine on friday they have black pcb with copper heat spreaders, anyone have pics? I'll post mine after I take a few shots of them.
