Who has to disprove it? Not me, I know what I think about what happened. You can deny it all you want. It matters not to me.
You can't prove that Islam wasn't the cause of the shooting either. You pick your poison and I'll pick mine.
It dosent really matter if it was or wasn't, my point was to show that it is wrong to judge a religon based on the actions of its people.
Not trying to start a flamewar here, but merely trying to stop the negative view that the religon of Islam has gotten. Even the scriptures of the bible can be interpreted in a certain way. It would be wrong to judge Christianity based on the actions of the extreme-conservatives. The religon is still a pure and good one.
btw I'm not muslim.

Muslims got this "negative" rap because of the way they fvcking act. Its ok to cut off a head on TV and fill your press with Jew-hatin' filth, but don't draw a cartoon about my imaginary friend! And even if "Christians are fanatics too", at least their militants just tell me that Katrina was divine punishment and the purple Teletubby is gay. Thats alot less harmful than televised beheadings.
If Islam is really a "religion of peace" like I keep hearing, then why aren't any of its followers actually
peaceful? Instead they're violent, oppressive, and intolerant, so let's be honest; its 2006...their religion is either completely ridiculous, or they've twisted it beyond recognition. Either way, they're rapidly becoming World Enemy #1.
Prejudice=Pre-judging. I am not "pre-judging" these people. I am simply JUDGING them based on their own words and actions. If they think I, and some Danish cartoonist, should have a different view of them and their religion, then maybe they should start acting like rational human beings.[/quote]
Buddy, there are over a billion Muslims on earth. If Islam was a religion of violence, you'd see major chaos throughout the planet. The fact that there are only a handful of people carrying out these acts suggest it isn't the religion but rather a side effect of a handful of extremist mullahs/politicians/rogue states (e.g. Saudi Arabia/Syria) that are trying to leverage their views on others by using Islam's name.
