Lots of people kill people in the name of or because of their religion.

And lots of people kill people in the name of Satan, their gang affiliation, their drug territory, the voices in their head, and a bunch of other stupid shit.

This guy being Muslim has zero to do with him flying off the hinge and stabbing to people after being fired. I am not aware of any passages in the Qur'an that states "if someone fires you from your position of work, kill two infidels that also work there!"

If this was a White Christian guy the story would be about a crazy guy who killed someone.

Yes it would be about someone who was "troubled", had a bad childhood, and so on and so forth. But in this case, it is because of that evil religion (shrugs).

Next story please about the evils of Islam...

The problem Is your a Muslim apologist and possibly paid by a Muslim group to always twist what is being said into some meaningless babble about Christians or white people.

Some people actually are brainwashed into believing it is a religion of peace....go figure!!

Dude, if the actions of Israelis are anything to go by, one would figure Judaism is the most evil thing in this world. But thankfully, unlike you, I am not ignorant and have studied it and know it is nothing like that. But carry on in your hatred of Muslims and Islam....there is no cure for ignorance. There would sooner be a cure for AIDS.

I see what you're doing here. At least, I hope I see what your doing. What I hope you are doing is just expressing your frustration over religious extremists. Fuck them.

But what I am afraid of what you might be doing is continuing to spread fear about terrorists and muslims. I bet I can find 50 beheadings done by the mexican cartel in the last month. So what does it matter?

Beheading, barbaric act that it is, seems to be a third world thing and not related to religion. Mexican drug lords do it too.

If this guy recently converted to Islam, he may have internalized all the news about beheadings and decided it was related to religion, despite that fact.

Do we blame all of Christianity for Sandy Hook because Adam Lanza went to a Catholic school?
The perpetrator of the Alabama UPS shooting attended his Baptist church every single Sunday. Do we blame all of Christianity for those murders?
Of course not, because that would be stupid. Likewise with this incident.

If we are going to start attributing killings to religion instead of mental illness then we can also start attributing shootings to guns and our gun culture instead of mental illness as well.

Some how I think the gun nutters won't want to do that, I doubt if it will stop them from repeating their claims though.

The guy being a Muslim convert and *probably* getting fired over trying to convert people more than likely and beheading someone like ISIS has been calling on people to do has nothing to do with it?

:hmm:

:\

*edit* better ?

Was he fired for trying to convert people? Did he behead her similar to ISIS? Because, the article contains no language that suggests either. Perhaps, you have more information available?

The fact he was Muslim is of very little relevance. He was fired (for something, who knows what at this point) and he immediately drove to the front of the business and started stabbing the first person he came into contact with (the receptionist). He then, in the process of assaulting her, beheaded her somehow (he could have had a sword and just lopped it off in one fell swoop!) and then proceeded to stab another before someone intervened.

His conviction of assaulting a police officer was probably just a result of all the anti police threads here

No report that I've seen has given *any* reason for his firing. Given his rather extensive criminal past I suspect it may be more complicated than you seem to want it to be.

Those are done in the name of Jesus Malverde, patron saint of the drug dealers

The outlaw image has caused him to be adopted as the "patron saint" of the region's illegal drug trade, and the press have thus dubbed him "the narco-saint."

I just learned this right at this moment watching Drugs Inc.

The irony is that Bush started the whole religion of peace stuff, and spread more by American politicians and anti Muslim sites

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_of_Peace

Religion of Peace is a political neologism used as a description of Islam. After the September 11, 2001 attacks, some politicians described Islam as a "religion of peace" in an effort to differentiate between Islamic terrorists, Islamism, and non-violent Muslims.[1] Subsequently, some critics of Islam have adopted the phrase, using the term "Religion of Peace" in a sarcastic manner as a pejorative synonym for Islam.

The Arabic term Islam (إسلا&#1605 is derived from aslama, which means "to surrender" or "resign oneself".[4][5] The Arabic word salaam (سلا&#1605 ("peace") shares the same consonantal root (s-l-m) with the words Islam and Muslim.[6] This has led to a widespread misinterpretation that the word Islam means peace.

Tried to convince coworkers to convert to Islam. Got fired for that. Beheaded coworker and stabbed another one. He was practicing Islam, the Religion of Peace, in accordance with the teachings of the Quoran.

He was shouting Islamic phrases and would have kept going on with his religious practice but stopped by business executive with gun.

Stop the gun violence. Ban guns!

On a side note, I also posted a bit of a diatribe about it there already.

But in a nutshell, they guy was clearly crazy, and also recently converted to Islam, and probably couldn't shut up about it at work and got fired over it, then used that as an excuse to go psycho and behead someone.

Which is why they aren't calling it a terrorist act, since he wasn't working with anyone else and he was clearly crazy.

They can call it a case of the Stand Alone Complex.

Do you really believe the Qur'an has the power to change people into maniacs?
Case in point.

Hitler's religious beliefs and fanaticism (quotes from Mein Kampf)

Hitler wrote: "I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.." As a boy, Hitler attended to the Catholic church and experienced the anti-Semitic attitude of his culture. In his book, Mein Kampf, Hitler reveals himself as a fanatical believer in God and country. This text presents selected quotes from the infamous anti-Semite himself.
