Must have 360 titles

I mainly just borrow my friends games because he has so many but we dont really have the same tastes. Im sort of into RPG's and such (but im open to anything new and different) so what games can u recommend that aren't on this list. (no sports games or band games)

Someone recommended Lost Odyssey and mass effect to me as I'm a Final Fantasy fan. any good?

Mass Effect is better on a PC, just like KOTOR 1-2. Also get Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines from Steam if you haven't played it yet.

Some of my to-buy / -rent list for when I can get a Jasper 360 are:
Crackdown
Dead Rising
Operation Darkness (low rated tactical WW2 RPG with vampire Nazis vs. allied werewolves)
Earth Defense Force 2017 (giant bugs & robots)
Viva Pinata
Armored Core 4 & the new one ("for answer"?)
Infinite Undiscovery
Lost Odyssey wil have extra content on the PS3 so I'll be looking at that version.

I'm enjoying the PS3 version of Dark Sector, but I only paid $20 for it at Amazon.

Mass effect is great, which is high praise for me since im not really an RPG fan. I played it on the 360 and had a blast, awesome story.

I think you mean "Eternal Sonata". Lost Odyssey is a 360 exclusive, and has never been announced as anything else.

However, if you're into 360 RPGs, LO is definitely worth a go.

If you like RPG's, Fable II should be a must buy if it lives up to even half of it's expectations. It's due out October 21st. I'm definitely getting this one day 1.

- Burnout Paradise

And yet another vote for Mass Effect. My favorite 360 game by far.

EDIT: Don't forget about XBLA games.

- Castle Crashers is a must unless you're not a fan of the beat 'em up genre
- Bionic Commando: Rearmed is the benchmark for re-releasing old school titles
- Castlevania Symphony of the Night if you've never played it before
- Braid
- Rez HD is worth a look

Plenty of other great titles as well.

I can't play Mass Effect anymore. Or Oblivion. Why? Because if I pick up either of those two games, I'm playing them for the next two months.

Yeah, I think I have close to 90 hours in Mass Effect. I've completed 3 playthroughs, and have plenty of time spent with one or two other characters that I did not complete.

I have two achievements left and plan to get them during a fourth playthrough, which I'm waiting to do close to the release Mass Effect 2 (whenever that is). Even though it's extremely repetitive, I never seem to tire of exploring the carbon copied planets with the Mako.

I just picked up Crackdown, and I've gotta say it is a very fun game. Super cop vs the bad guys, I love it.

Blue dragon is a fairly decent game once you get going. I defiantly got a slight FF7 vibe from the open world-ness of the 2nd half

If he is a FF fan, kiddy characters shouldn't be a problem anyway Can't tell much of a difference between these kids and the angsty teens that grace most other JRPG's
