Must-have xbox 360 games?

I just got an xbox 360.... I'm looking for a couple of games...

1 good party/multiplayer game
1 good 1 player game


and others..? I didn't play with xbox live with my normal xbox, so i probably won't with this one either.


also has anyone used the 'harmony' remote for the 360?

multiplayer will be 2-3 people, maybe 4.. probably normally while friends are over drinking...

Burnout Revenge, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter for multiplayer.

Tomb Raider: Legend, Elders Scroll IV: Oblivion for single player.

How much did you pay for your 360 and where.. I was deciding whether to look for a bundle or buy in store because it seems the bundles don't save you that much money.

Wait, all of those games are available on the PC.

So to answer your question, there are NO must-have games on the 360 right now. And won't be until Halo 3 or Mass Effect come out, or KoTOR III if its even being made.

I like Call of Duty on my friend's 360. Nice game, a bit CS-like, if you ask me, except set during war, and there are no bombs to plant.

COD2 and Burnout Revenge for Multiplayer.

Tomb Raider is DEFINITELY the best single player game on the system IMO (I'm no a huge Oblivion fan at all - i dislike those types of games) but Tomb Raider is not worth a buy, it's too short.

Geometry Wars is the best $5 you can spend as well, and it's single player.

I have the Harmony 880 and that runs everything in my entertainment center including my x360. Works well, but I have not tried the Harmony made for the xbox 360.

It's the same but with 360 buttons added to it. I haven't used it yet but it gets fantastic reviews.

CoD2 and Ghost Recon. Halo 2 is also a great multiplayer on the 360

Battlefield 2 hasn't left my system from a Multiplayer aspect for weeks... I love it!

For single player, there's nothing better than Oblivion.

Multiplayer is kinda toss-up. Depends on how many players and what games they like. If its just a couple then Burnout or Fight Night would probably be good, although I think Fight Night would get old really quickly. Maybe Dead or Alive 4. Perfect Dark's co-op was reasonably fun.

GRAW looks senificantly better on the 360. (Actually the play and feel of the game is different) GRAW360 looks better but plays like splinter Cell FPS. GRAW PC plays like more of a tatical shooter.

Oblivion looks depends heavily on hardware of your PC. 360 has longer load time for me.

COD2 looks better on 360 (YMMV)
