All the farcry except 2... Crysis, some old ones like half life...

unreal tournament classic, left for dead - team online play's....

Blood Dragon is the kind of tongue-in-cheek awesomeness that should be released more often. People can hate Ubisoft, but those people are wrong. Ubisoft gave us Blood Dragon.

Star Citizen, even in its current pre-pre alpha state has given me more "Oh Shit" PC gaming moments than any other game of the past several years. Even if it never makes it to release, it was worth the ride.

I know this is a PC gaming forum but some of the greatest games ever made are Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 for the Nintendo Wii. You can download the Dolphin emulator if you don't have a Wii and play them on there, in 1080p or 4k glory if you want. Playing them in 1080p makes them look almost current gen, and they are, IMO, the best platforming games ever.

Uhhh....how about you just relax. You can buy the games and rip them onto your computer and use to play them.

No because Emulators are not authorized to be run on a PC hardware, hence according to nintendo's legality its illegal.

I agree with many of the other games mentioned, but I do think Wither 3 and DLC is one of the best games ever made (For back story, watch on Youtube or play Witcher 1 and 2 as well)

but my little bit of sarcasm you have all missed, is that games are inhernetly tied to the times they are made; the great games of the 80s were cool because they were in the 80s, and so on for each generation. I can point you to a dozen games which were absolutely epic, but today, they have passed their time.
Sure you can still play them and maybe enjoy the story, maybe wonder at how great they were for their time. But you'll never have that sense of wonder we had, because those were the games of the future, not the games of the past.

If you want to find great games, you need to play what's coming out now.
