Marines on Sunday found the mutilated body of a Western woman as they searched for militants still holding out in Fallujah. The woman could not be immediately identified, but Margaret Hassan, director of CARE international in Iraq, and Teresa Borcz Khalifa, a Polish-born longtime resident of Iraq, are the only Western women known to have been taken hostage. The disemboweled body of the woman was wrapped in a blood-soaked blanket on a street.

Its all the fault of the US and our murderous occupation. We forced those fine Freedom Fighters into committing such a regretable act. Now they'll hate us all the more for making them do such a thing.

Hopefully we will kill the mudering bastards who did this, along with the rest of the terrorists.

EDIT: Format C: was being sarcastic. But I will leave my response in advance of what's coming. lol

It's not the US's fault she is dead. It is the terrorist bastards who did it at fault. They killed her. We did not force anyone to do anything. They killed her with their own free will. She was there to help them, and they killed her. All they know is violence. They were kept under control by Sadam with extreme violence. I hope we kill every one of them.

Now now, you know that just can't be the case. These are fine people that follow a strict moral code. They could only be forced into such a heinous act by our evil and obviously illegal actions. If we would just leave them be such things would never happen. Its all our fault.

I don't think this has anything to do with religion. If all one looks at are the Crusades, Christianity hardly looks like a peace-loving faith either, and Iraq was the most secular middle-Eastern nation before OIF.

This is certainly very sad, particularly if it's Hassan. I was a little amazed that even al Zarqawi seemed to feel her kidnapping was wrong, and promised to free her if she was turned over to him. It's hard to imagine a person who less deserves this sort of treatment.

If people want to hold Islam accountable for the actions of its followers, that's one thing. But to be fair though they should hold Christianity accountable for the actions of its followers too.

What about the mutilated bodies of non-Western women in Falluja? Aren't they shocking and horrifying too?

From another current thread but the sentiments fit here just as well do they not?

There were no anti-American insurgents before Iraq was invaded under false pretenses. So the insurgents did not bring it to anything. The US created these insurgents.
