What else are we supposed to talk about? The earth shattering perk system and bomb-proof trees?
*crickets*
Ongoing platitudes about how MW3 is a rehash and how innovative BF3 is will suffice. Keep it up, you're doing great.

I never said BF3 was innovative. I just said it wasn't as stale as MW3's formula. Apparently I'm not alone, and plenty of people are coming to the same "Madden conclusion" on their own without any help from me .
Just have read several previews for MW3 in gaming magazines. They even talked about how stale the game is getting. But you're right BD, people are just making stuff up to hate on the flawless wonder that Call of Duty is.
I'm perfectly ok with CoD not getting too innovative. I like the game and am ok paying $60 for a new campaign, new skins, and important changes. I enjoy playing the game more than I enjoyed playing BF or any other competition.
And that's all that matters and is your right.
Some people can't stand it when others don't like what they like, though. So pathetic and childish...
Nah, the thing is the people that don't like it are out to preach their hatred to try change people's mind. It's like a religion to them. They gotta create entire threads to try to convince people of how horrible the game is for gamers, the industry, etc. I mean, I understand that activision is just milking the hell out of the franchise right now, but eventually that milk is probably gonna run out. Right now though, it's the hottest thing so you can't blame them for the milkage.
I mean, if this game does turn out to be horrible it'll be the last one I buy from them.
Let them burn their own bridges, you don't have to do it for them.
You're giving the haters way too much credit. I don't think it's some sort of premeditated smear campaign. Haters gonna hate, and everyone loves the underdog.
Honestly, I'm starting to come to the conclusion that for console gamers, CoD will still be better than console BF3. It just seems like a poor match to the system, whereas CoD is perfectly suited. The track record of console BF series games is absolutely horrible.
I wouldn't say "horrible", I had the most fun of any shooter this generation with MP Bad Company 2 due to its vastness and breadth. But I will agree that BF is a horse of a game that our poor consoles just can't run like its meant to be(I'd kill to be able to play 32v32 on console), and CoD is easier on the system.
CoD has gotten fat and bloated sitting on top of the video game world. Poor servers, complete lack of anti-cheat measures, along with a host of other problems have driven me from top 20 on the MW1 leaderboards to "I'd rather buy Skyrim in November" guy...lol
Sounds like you're still a PC guy.
So what is worse? A hater or a defender? Im using the word Defender, for lack of anything better ATM.
It's a thread about not being excited. It didn't start out as hateful. But here comes the CoDzealots to say "blah blah, whatever you like sucks."
Those folks are "haters" themselves.
Healthy criticism keeps things honest.
But we have a few posters in this thread that are defending some sort of religion.

How is that unbalanced? I can run a sniper, kill someone, and grab their AR. If anything it's a waste of a perk IMO.I was bugged when I saw the player with an assault rifle as his primary and a sniper as the secondary. I guess balance isn't important.
I assume this has been brought to attention, but has anybody watched the MW3 multiplayer videos?
The game looks EXACTLY, and I mean 100% copy/pasted from MW2. NOTHING looks different. Even the font, score menu, colors, playercards, etc is literally a carbon copy as MW2. It truly looks like all they did was add new maps.
I was excited, now I am disappoint.
Take a look

Because a sequel ain't a real sequel if they use the same font or color scheme. No series ever does that. Right?
Maybe they need a new engine to expand beyond red and blue for team colors?
FWIW, a lot of that stuff is placeholders.
