MWave credit card info hacked?

Saw this article on the Register indicating that the mwave credit card DB has been hacked.

I sent an email to them questioning this but have not yet recieved a response.

Anyone else heard anything?

You've got to give them time to make something up. You won't ever get the truth out of a situation like this. At least not from the merchant.

Keep in mind this info is from a person who claims to have hacked the system and was willing to 'brag' about it to that security group.
Hopefull we're looking at someone exagerating or the like.

Just received this email response from mWave:
