well my performance begs to differ. it was only inexpensive because of Black Friday sales.
Agility 4 does use Marvel controller not sandforce. Agility 4 is not like other OCZ products. It is a huge performance increase over previous models. it compares with other high-end ssd, such as Samsung.

still would have gotten an Intel. samsung, or crucial at that budget.

That particular "Indilinx" is a Marvell with OCZ firmware. The true Indilinx controllers are the original Barefoot found in the Vertex 1 and Aliglity one and the new controller found in the Vector.

My OCZ Agility 4, which is worlds above Agility 3 or 2, makes me Very Happy.
I highly recommend it to other users!

No, it doesn't, and it uses a less reliable controller than the brands mentioned by T Yamamoto.

Wow that is one clean build man. I just finished ordering all my parts for my computer. Should be able to start building in the next 3 days when I arrive in the states. That is a very clean build inside and out, over all looks great!

you cannot be serious? Samsung 830/840/840 Pro, Crucial M4, Intel 330/520 are all vastly superior choices to the Agility 4.

"Just say no" to OCZ. Let us know when it pukes...

Just pieced together a 3.5k system, and I went intel and GTX690, with 2 Dell 27" 1080p IPS monitors.

Ah it does? I always believed that OCZ used sandforce controllers. Well I wouldn't buy OCZ for my life. What I'm saying is, he had a budget of 3000. THREE THOUSAND. Yet he can't fit a Intel or crucial ssd? You're doing it wrong. Also, just because its cheap doesn't mean its always good.

Avoid OCZ - their quality control is not upto the mark. On the other hand.. sandforce works good.. most of the OEM's are still using sandforce! it powers the latest intel 335 & mushkin chronos

8 months later - I LOVE my OCZ Agility 4 256GB SSD. I can't believe I got it on such an amazing price ($115) on Black Friday! I'LL NEVER GO BACK TO OS ON NORMAL HDD!!

When I use my laptop which I rarely ever do, or someone else's PC, I'm like, COME ON SCREEN, LOAD.. Because I am so spoiled with the speed of my SSD!!!

And you really can't beat 10 second reboot time!!! Man I love that!!! I turn my head to glance at something for a second after clicking reboot, then glance back it's already at windows login screen! It's like it's nagging me, "come on user, I'm so fast I'm waiting for you!" says my PC to me

I highly recommend this SSD!!
