That's not bad, but I get 8632 with my SLI 7900 GT set up.
So somethings up with your set up there.
Then again I did have my CPU OC'd to 2.7ghz and quality set to high performance.

I'm voltmodding my GPU's to GTX and beyond speeds tomorrow and fitting Zalman VF900's on both.
So I cant wait to see what 3dMark06 scores I pull out tomorrow/Tuesday

By the way, that's a DAMN fine system you have there.

try setting it to high performance if you havent already, you'll see an increase within 100-800 3Dmarks

I wouldnt be so sure.
This dude seems to be loaded.

I bet he's one of those types that might see themselves with Quad SLI sometime in the future.

Yeah, I see he has a 60fx which cost like $1000+, and duel 150gb raptors so...

But like with the PSU he wouldn't see any difference at all if it was a PCPC 600w instead. Thats why it's overkill. Like with the raptors you do see the speed but with the psu there would be no difference. I guess he would see a differnece with his e-weener though.

WOAH!!! NICE SYSTEM!!!! That's so close to my dream system....

A8N32-SLI Deluxe
FX-60
4 150GB Raptors in Raid 5
4GB Corsair PC4400
PCP&C 1KW PSU

30" dell.

Go to your driver cintrol panel and set the settings to high performance for a higher score.

I wouldnt be so sure.

Head over to the Newegg PCPC 510 SLI customer reviews section and you will see quite a few people with similar set ups to him who have complained that their PSU has not been able to handle their system. They had even emailed PCPC in which the response was, get the 850w version.

I don't believe that. Isn't there a 600w version?

No there isnt, there's a 510w version, but the maximum power output is 650w.
However, like I already said, there are a few people who have reported the 510 SLI version has not been sufficient to run some SLI 7900 GTX and Crossfire X1900 XTX systems. Hard to believe I know but true.

his setup costs double mine but in games if fps display was off you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Erm guess what.

I would

And do you know how I can say that with so much self conviction, because I used to own an X1900 XTX. Even the XTX in counter strike at 1920 x 1200 with max settings drops to at times 30-40fps in some areas, especially when there's lots of people on screen.
I notice the difference between 30 and 60+ enormously.
But I play CS like mad, so i notice these things whereas most people might not.
And yes that fps difference can at times affect your gaming performance quite alot infact depending on how seriously you play.

With my SLI set up now the least it drops to is about 60fps, so I'm a happy chappy.

Also, in COD2 the fps with the XTX would drop to 25fps and so on, now it wont drop below 35fps. I know 10fps may not seem like alot, but the difference between 25 minimum and 35 minimum makes the difference between playable and seriously sluggish.

And NO, I refuse to lower the resolution!

So in response to your original comment, yes, you would notice a difference, depending on what resolution and settings you used, and most probably depending on what monitor you used aswell.

wow, thats strange, my single 7800GTX 512 maintains 1 50-60 framerate at 1920x1200 with smoke and all the other madness that ensues in counterstrike source, however I understand how it is to "feel" a difference rather than literally see it sometimes as far as framerates are concerned.

Maybe I missed the boat, but can you provide a link to this 30" monitor? It has to be LCD/Plasma right?

30" CRT = 2" thick reinforced steel computer desk /boggle

Why bother recommending he set his video card to high performance? He's not going to be playing games that way, I can almost guarantee it. That's akin to inflating scores, almost.
