My A64 is running passive???

Very surprising but with the big typhoon heatsink, 120mm nexus in front and side, 80mm nexus in back and the 120mm fan in my psu my cpu temp is still under 30C idle with the cpu fan off. I just turned off the 120mm case fans and its staying under 35C even with the cpu fan off. Its soo quiet, I only wish the fan in my ATI Silencer hadn't gone out...

Bu the way this is without the OC (2.0 Ghz stock settings)

I tried to enable C&Q but mbm still says 2008 Ghz and the C&Q utility doesn't show any power savings. While I'm gaming my temp spiked to 44C but thats not to bad for a passive cooler.

My 3000+ is at 45 °C load using an XP-90 and a Zalman ZM-F2, albeit on the low speed setting. That's nice, but not too surprising.

Maybe I am surprised because my temperature was reaching 65C+ when overclocking... I had forgotten how efficient these can be.

Set your power profile to Minimal Power Management and C&Q should work.
