The site won't allow me to change it, all i get is a stupid progress bar then the OK button freezes.

Can you delete the old one, even if it doesn't show? Couple of people said when they tried to upload a new one they had to delete the old one.

My avatar survived, but it looked a little funny in the transfer, so I just uploaded a similar one. No problems with the upload and no need to delete the old avatar first.

Mine is good but a bit low-res. I'll probably update it to the same avatar but cropped for xenforo. I have one around here somewhere for all my forums that use this software.

I'm in the same camp with those that can't update their avatar. As far as deleting the old one, where do I go to try to do that? I don't see any options. Anybody know what the max size is for an avatar...whether it's pixels or kb? Just trying to get things updated here and I'm having some trouble like some of the others. Thanks for the help.

Mine seems to have saved, but what I find odd is everywhere its pretty much a circle, but if you reply to a post in a thread, it shows as a small square one.

Before I deleted my existing avatar, the upload seemed to stall for me too. After deleting my avatar, the upload was effectively instantaneous. Maybe I was just lucky...

Need to redo mine, but I'm scared if I do so it won't work and I'll be stuck with that horrible default thing.

Reason I need to redo it is they clipped his ears! Ugh.

You can't delete what isn't there. Your only option is uploading one, which like in my case, just hangs and doesn't do a darn thing (except seem like it's going to upload), so I'm stuck with the default until further notice.

I'm in the same boat. i just didn't know if there was something I was missing. I guess we'll just have to wait it out for a bit. Oh well, could be worse.

They've set the time limit to 5 minutes for now.

You can't change posts per page at the moment.

Figured out the avatar issue (I think). File size limit is set to 7 KB, which may be a holdover from the old limit (can't remember what it was, but it was low), except here it's not giving you a warning or notice of the limit.

When you try to change it it gives you a warning that the picture should be at least 200 by 200. I tried changing mine with no luck.

You aren't going to easily get a 200 x 200 image to be within the current filesize limit. They need to up the limit or change that message.

Right now I have the uploading stalling out at anything above 7 KB. And if you look at the avatars that made the transition, they are all under that.

Managed to get my profile/avatar pic to be 200 x 200 and be just a hair under 7 KB at 6.93 KB (and no forced blue bg in profile). Still hope the limit gets fixed, though.
