It's gotta be a major emergency before I'm gonna take a crap at work...or anyplace except my own crapper.

No, I really haven't. I'm always at work 5 minutes early, I leave usually 5-10 minutes after close, I don't take smoke breaks, I don't take coffee breaks, and I use the bathroom once a day, for 3 minutes. I rarely go out for lunch because I make my own food, so I typically use less than my allotted lunch time as well. Please don't make assumptions.

My boss served in the military, and I've never once heard a peep about anything I do. Your boss is a complete, micro-managing POS. I like the other guy's suggestion about suggesting the time calculated for other individual's smoke breaks. If that doesn't shut him up, I'd take the issue up with HR, though that my get you started on your boss becoming a complete ass hole.

Personally, if my boss were to try that with me, I'd seriously tell him to get lost. Unless I am spending more than 30-45 minutes on a daily basis, taking a dump or piss is considered must. And given most smokers spend at least that out smoking, he shouldn't be going after you about it.

Nope...I go at home in the morning. It's one of the very first things I do after getting out of bed.
My "morning constitutional" is almost a ritual...

I usually designate a couple of preferred drop zones at my workplace, typically the handicap stalls so I can stretch out and relax.

This. I worked construction for 6 or so years. They can get quite nasty, especially if the GC doesn't arrange for weekly clean outs. It got to the point where we would actually refuse to work on the site unless there was enough toilets (law is 1 per 10 workers iirc). And it was usually the Portuguese and Italian concrete/brick layers that were the worst....they would stand on the seat with mucky boots and squat.

Splash back on porta-potties is the ABSOLUTE WORST btw. Grounds for an immediate shower.
