so the new James Bond movie premiers tonight for the paying public
infact tonight is the advanced preview night, so there will be limited showings. tomorrow will be the day the film is properly out.
advanced previews here dont have adverts either, (last time i went to one anyway)
my brother reckons that he can go out with his gf in a few mins, have dinner in pizza hut and get tickets at the door for the 7:30 there are subsequent showings at 8:30 and 9:30
with this film being hyped so much (its had multiple special features in programs, and its own documentary style features on the stunts n such) i honestly doubt there will be tickets for the 7:30 showing. i think its possible it'll be sold out all night.
to add to that the pizza hut outing, which you need at least an hour for at peak time if not more and even if he doest get tickets to 7:30 it'll be touch n go on wether he makes it out of pizza hut on time, especially tonight as there will be many many other people doing the dinner in pizza hut and then a movie after.
of course he wont listen to what i say and he wont listen to what our mum said....
i cant see him just turning up and getting a ticket to an advance screening of one of the most anticipated movies of this season.
EDIT: he made the 7:30 movie.... just. got out of pizza hut at 7:40, and got the crappest seats in the cinema. front row, right at the end
still he said the movie was immense. (immense = amazingly good
