Aimster = multiple people at ALL TIMES. I am not blamming my brother for using this account because he uses it as well. Most of the post on Off-Topic do not come from me. As a matter of fact hardly any of them do. I said I most mainly in politics.

If what Aimster represents goes against forum policies, then ban the account.

Not just your brother using the account, apparantly. According to one chat transcript posted, the IM name in your profile belongs to someone in your 'circle of friends' who doesn't know what school you go to at the moment (apparently you change around)...

So, presuming this guy ( ) was the one who set up the account originally, sine you say it wasn't you, and its someone else's IM name, (who says he's not even related to you), why did this guy use your name?

Uh, because the other screen name is his friend. And when I talked to the real aimster, he proptly posted here. So you do the math.

I think someone really did use his screen name other than him as all the stories reflect his brother's experiences. It's not that big of a strech.

Anyway, good job ATOT for finding the lie(s) but perhaps the person who posted last isn't the same as the first post. It's not really a ban-able offence imo, but I'm no mod so whatever.

This is why accounts have these magical little things called 'passwords.' These 'passwords' are used to keep other people from posting something as you. If you are stupid enough (and we know aimster is, wether or not it *was* someone else*) to give your password to others, then yes, you should be banned. If Anandtech wanted there to be accounts used by groups or the public at large, they would just allow anonymous posting.

I don't know about you, but I just keep myself logged in so really anyone who uses my computer could post here.

I don't know about you, but there is only one person who can access my computer. That is, yet again, why things such as Windows XP have usernames and passwords.
