I just use the laser pointer to direct my cats out of the room when they start doing that. They get around the corner and try for 10 minutes to find the pointer that conveniently disappeared. Usually takes care of itself after that.
Haha that is funny. I keep wanting to buy a laser pointer just so I can play with my cat from the comfort of a chair. Yes, I'm actually more lazy then my cat.
