cats eat plants/grass all the time when their stomach is not feeling right because it will force them to vomit.

this. I've known quite a few dogs who start eating grass and then throw up. I guess if they've got that sick stomach feeling, a little vegetation is all they need to force it up.
Which also is intriguing, as cats and dogs are carnivores. Yet, a large portion of big-name dog foods use fillers that are grain and whatnot. Granted, the dogs I've had have led healthy lives (had a mutt my whole life growing up, lived 17 years. staple food was Kibbles n Bits, with a variety of treats, mostly milk bone or snausages, current dog of only a few years has purina).
And off subject a bit... this thread makes me very confused when looking at OPs username.

Cats are carnivores, but dogs are omnivorous, like humans and bears and pigs.

My cat likes lettuce and broccoli. I give her a little from time to time. I assume it's similar to eating grass, which they like to do from time to time. A little bit of fiber/vegetables to cats ain't gonna kill 'em.
