My cat was mostly indoors but he still nabbed a few animals here and there.
Brought in a bunny for interrogation one time.

My mom thought she would be nice to the birds and made a little wooden feeder for them in the back yard. What she didnt think about was how high Sam could jump.
He got free birds for a week before she figured it out. :laugh:

My kitty lives indoors, so she only gets to kill bugs, which she loves to do. Too bad for her, I usually kill them and flush them before she has a chance to have fun with them.

updated. she got a few more moles this week. had a chippie, but it probably got away although i might of died in the garage... guess i'll find out in a few days.

This kind of sounds like my dog, but your cat's total kill list is simply more impressive. My dog averages only about 1 kill a week.

i haven't read this whole thread, but i do have a few questions.
is your cat friendly at all or just a beast? will it curl up on your lap and sleep? does it purr when you pet it?

we had a killer cat like that when i was a kid. it was a barn cat that we adopted, but the thing didn't have a friendly bone in it's body. it never meowed. it only hissed. :Q

In other news, thr population of moles and chipmunks has dropped drastically in the united states. Analysts are hard pressed to figure out what could be causing this unusual phenomenon.

This cat is abnormally friendly IMO. She will seek out laps whereever they may present themselves. She will follow me around the house like a dog and she is very tolerant of our two boys and has never bit them, and only swatted at them a couple of times (and they deserved it). She'll sleep in your arms, on your lap, practically anywhere. She purrs, licks, massages her feet, does everything you thing that a really gentle/loving cat should do. It just in her spare time that she likes to kill things.

Wish I had kept a list like this of one of my old cats(now my parents' cats).
One was always a lazy bum, more like a dog than a cat, wouldn't even eat raw fish, shrimps, etc.

The other one was a lean mean killing machine though.
Took out everything that wasn't twice it's size, including a few hares, a bigass rat(easily heavier than the cat), various sizes and types of birds, and a crapload of mice.
She did something truly heroic once, the little sister of a friend of mine was watching this really cute hare family, when all of a sudden my cat came running out on the field and caught one of the hares, killed it fairly quickly and took off with it.
His little sister was like 7-8 years old at the time, and got quite traumatized from what I heard.
Cats rule!

She brought home a good sized rabbit last year... otherwise, she usually sticks to things abou t the size of her head.
