<< Docsmart, you shouldn't be trusted with computers. Use your common sense, ELECTRICITY and WATER do NOT MIX. When going inside your computer, UNPLUG it.

And how do you think intel is more "fire-proof"? Silicon is silicon...

And also, why do you think intel has better cooling? The cooling all depends on you (if you are building your own computer).

And why does cooling have any thing to do with how you started the fire?

Intel has better HEAT CONTROL.

ok this guy is faking this. there is no doubt in my mind that he is doing this for kicks now, i think it just stopped being funny. well maybe not

Is that one of your stupid questions? The answer is that it isn't. I don't know where you acquired that information, but perhaps you should pay yourself to get rid of it.

You did it again. Hei dude. WAKE UP......AAHAHAHA...For crying out loud. Go check your own rig before flaming us dude. Did the heat from the burnt get to your head?!

I SAID THAT MY MOTHERBOARD IS GENERIC! NOT THE CHIPSET!

Please: Learn: how to: read. I have heard that "Hooked on Phonix" works.

<< MAN THIS SUCKS!

I was masturbating to some granny pr0n while building my computer and eating Cheetos. While I was wanking, I spooged. I looked at my penis, and noticed it was orange from the Cheetos, so I tried to wipe it off. While doing so, I knocked a randomly placed gallon of water all over my rig, which I foolishly placed open to hold my granny pr0n mag. DAMN! When my computer exploded, it killed my fern. Then I stomped out the fire, and accidentally stomped on my Palm V. I am blaming AMD for this. Those bastards! I'm going to over-spend on an Intel processor based setup, which would die EXACTLY the same way due to MY STUPIDITY, but I heard Intel likes to watch.

Idiot. DocSmarts, it is ENTIRELY your fault that the rig broke. Chalk this up to experience, stop trying to defend yourself, and don't say something stupid like "I'm not using an AMD rig ever again because of this" when it isn't AMD or your mobo's manufacturer-it's you!

That's the funniest isht I've read all year. BUAHAHAHAHAH

Well, his system rig does now have a "Quantum Fireball" drive. Date Added on the rigs page has also changed to Jan 26th. Hmm. Watson, what do you make of this?

Generic Chipset: i440 LX <---cut from your rigs page

Dude, I HAVE TOLD YOU TONS OF TIMES TO STOP IT. YOU'RE NOT LISTENING. HELOOOOOOOOO WAKE UP! SMELL THE BURNT ATHLON THAT YOU KILLED. STOP SOKING CRACK. CRACK IS BAD FOR YOU. 440LX WAS NEVER A GENERIC CHIPSET. DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT'S A COMPUTER TO BEGIN WITH?

CONSIDER THAT THERE MIGHT BE A PROBLEM WITH ANANDTECH'S QUERIES!!! When it said to imput motherboard Manufacturer it is GENERIC. Anandtech linked it to the chipset. <-- not my fault.

Thank you for alerting me on my extreme typographical error of "Quantum" when I misspelled those 7 letters as: "Seagate".

SIR, PLEASE STEP AWAY FROM THE CRACK PIPE.

You threw water on an electrical device, but you blame the manufacturer. :disgust::|:disgust::disgust:. Thats like me blaming a gun manufacturer for shooting myself in the foot while cleaning my rifle. Or blaming a car manufacturer for the car crashing because you were whacking while driving.

The way I see it, there are only two ways to explain your stupidity. Either you are putting out flamebait, or your mother smoked crack, and you have continued to smoke crack.

Since you're so anal about having the facts correct, that's basic chemistry. Distilled water doesn't conduct electricity because of the lack of salts in the water.
I wouldn't have pointed that out if you were somebody else, but you're such an ass.

EDIT: small edit to clear things up.

And how many computers have you built? Leaving a system plugged in and on while installing components? Who taught you that? ATX has power on the mobo all the time. Necessary evil for Wake-on events and turning on all of your power supply when you want the system on. Not a good thing when your putting components in.

I am sorry for you bad experience with watercooling, but the stuff you did is in the realm of a nightmare for me. Maybe I am paranoid with my watercooler, but open liquid containers are not allowed near my computer with it plugged in ever. I figured that was common sense, but as we can see common sense isn't very common. An acquaintance of mine, who I just had ordered a brand new 19" monitor, set a soda next to his monitor on his tower. As always happens, one thing leads to another and a week-old monitor is to never function again. (At least he accepted responsibility and didn't try to send it back.)

I can't believe I am replying to your ignorance twice.

If you are so good a chemistry then you shoudl know that when you place a salt molecule in water, it separates into two ions. For example: NaCl will separate to Na+ and Cl-, thus creating ions. These ions are what caries the charge. When you DE-IONIZE the water, you remove these ions, Thus what I said is 100% true, and your ignorance has stained it.
