My computer shits down/crashes every exactly 30 minutes

Hi guys.

Yesterday i moved to another appartment. I think something happened during the move and my comp stopped wroking. A technitian that visited my home told me that the PSU (550w antec) stopped working and also the processor got lodged out of its socket and that one of the connectors of the CPU fan was slightly bent.

The tech guy placed a new 600w zalman PSU got everything back together and at first the comp seemed to be working HOWEVER now there is another problem:

My computer works perfectly fine and after exactly 30 minutes (i timed this for 4 times) it just turns off. No blue screen. No errors. No reboot. Boom. Shuts off. Black screen. Its off.
In core-temp it seems like the temps of the CPU are never over 60c. It shuts off precicely after 30 minutes.

Can anyone help??

Cpu: i7 4770
Ram: 8gb
Os: win7 64bit

my guess is somebody has botted it and the pc is getitng a remote shutdown procedure. something similar happened to me around 2004, pc would get RCP messages every so often and shut down. this was probably automated on the system that had access to our IP.

installing a firewall made the problem disappear. try it, its risk-free.

Hehe. I was typing the whole thing from my smartphone and such a typo was bound to happen. I just hope this error wont prevent real helpful answers...

Anyway, i dont think its a hack. Since i moved i didnt have internet on my computer. I still dont. Hence posting this using my cellphone...

Lol.. nice way to get attention to your thread. Gonna have to try it sometime.

Start removing parts one by one and run your computer. First remove the GPU and run without it. See if that helps. Could be that your computer suffered some physical damage during moving(dropped on the ground?) which is causing this to happen.

Does it still screw up if you run memtest86 exclusively on it during that time?
