Miata.. okay whateever, I've driven one and they're fun.
But TWO TSX's? They aren't THAT great of a car.
And if your dad likes it so much he can borrow your moms.
Why have two cars of the same kind..? It just seems.. stupid.
If they're anything like my parents, it's not too much of a surprise - they both have pretty much similar needs and *know* what they want.
Depending on what a person needs the car for, their financial situation, and their personal subjectivity on the topic, it's easy to justify any car given the right person. Most people would say this car or that car is boring, but it boils down to the person and what they
want. I've seen on AT that if someone wants something despite what is to be said about something, they're given ******, but I don't think that's always the case.
My dad is someone who buys a car new, and drives for hundreds of thousands of miles before even thinking about selling it. He knows what brands he cares for, what he wants from a car, and what his budget it. The first of those 3 requirements narrows it down quite a bit.
I couldn't really care any less about what armchair renaissance AT'ers say about a product based on numbers and not experience, if I like how a product is and it works, then it's mine.
If anyone says subjective reasoning doesn't come into picking a car, they're wrong, that's how most people start the decision making process and nothing really wrong with it.
Why did I post this? I see Acura get a lot of ****** very often as well as Honda and I think it's because the armchair car driver who just reads articles online needs to go beyond that.
