Her dog is on the large size so perhaps that is why the pile was so large. It stank to no end.
The dog was smart though. She picked out a spot right by the flower stall as everybody was getting their Valentines flowers. However, in the end, the smell of the crap overpowered everything else.
It was at this time a noble bystander offered to... take a picture with his cell phone to show everybody I guess. He was very polite and asked if it was OK first though.
I was quick to grab two plastic bags that were in a bundle used for flowers. (Again, notice the intellect of the dog by her choice of location and the proximity to waste disposal bags.) My daughter grabbed while I held the repository bag. We removed all of it except a small smear.
The Walmart person who arrived on the scene after we had picked it up exclaimed, "Now see, that's why we don't allow pets in the store." We pointed to her cloth saddle which indicates she is indeed a service dog. The employee says, "But, I have to clean it up." I had to point out to him that we had already picked up almost all of it. This seemed to satisfy him somewhat. He grumbled a bit and said he'd be be back to clean it up.
Meanwhile, he leaves my daughter holding this bag of crap. Fortunately for everybody, my daughter found somewhere to dispose of the bag herself.
Walmart - What an adventure for a service dog!
