My ears click everytime I swallow

They have done for years, been doctor time and time again, says my pathways are blocked and they will last for ages.


Anyone can help or shed some light on this ?

Sounds like narrow eustachian tubes. Not much you can do. Did you have frequent ear infections as a kid? Still get them?

No, I try to blow my ears (holding my nose and blowing). I never got ear infections apart from one. Its just Im dying to get rid of this, Im prett sure I have had it for two years.

if you've been to the doctor time and time again for it, and there is nothing that can be done just deal with it and don't get all worked up over it because you will make it worse.

Try taking sudafed. Decongestants help me when I have swelling in my eustachian tubes that causes clicking when I swallow. If you have only had this two years, you probably are having some allergies. Get tested or try allergy meds.

Mine do it too, although I rarely notice. Sometimes its bad and it does give me headaches though. I am getting a cold if that means anything.

Mine have done it for as long as I can remember (I'm only 21 though). I had some ear infections as a kid.

I also can't blow my nose without having the same sort of effect changing altitude and having your ears needing to pop.
