I was out at best buy today and purchased a set of Sony MDR-V600 headphones for abotu $100. I figured I'm moving out soon and the neighbors to my apartment aren't going to always like my home theater setup Anyway I was just sitting here listening to them and got about 3 swift pops to my left ear. I was surprised at first but then I figured it out. They are randomely shocking me! I've never had a static problem in my bedroom really before either....... Shoulda' got some grados or sennheisers I guess......

That is just a defective set. I have a pair of those myself as well as a pair of MDR-V700DJs. Never had a problem with getting shocked.

Lol I think I might have to return them.....getting shocked just isn't my cup of tea, I do enough of that on accident

Adul: what kind of senns do you think? $100 was really the upper limit of my dollar. I'm still debating if I like 'em to be a closed set or not, I guess I"d be willing to try open......

try listening to deeko's singing, they'll result in same effects. (but it is due to brain damage from such horrible notes that brain automatically commits suicide)
