I wish we had a T1 service at our shop. We have several computers running Windows Updates, AV/AS software updating, etc.
Forget VOIP.. too much bandwidth being used.

So what' you doin' round there that you need the T1?I hate when people at work complain about our T1's. And they run bandwidth tests @ work to compare to their house as if they knew what they were doing or attempting to prove
"Well at home I can get 50 Megabytes per second download ! And at work I only get 1 Megabyte per second! Why cant we upgrade to something faster? "
Idiots...
Kinda in the opposite side myself in my company. The packing, the QA (quality control), and several of our builders have friggin Sandy quad cores. I debated at one point to run Blender on the PC I work at, so as to do a render in the background while I work. Transacting our inventory sure as hell isn't gonna peg a slow Core 2 Duo, let alone an i7!I still suffer with a 4:3 second screen when over 90% of the company now has two 16:10 screens, but my department is too cheap to pay for the upgrade.
It could be worse. My work laptop takes 5 minutes just to boot up.... and it was JUST replaced and has a SSD. That tell you how much crap is on it?

sounds like it was customized to their liking.
