If you feel comfortable removing the motherboard, I think you could handle the rest. It's not too hard.
BTW - if I crank the fan up to full speed (1900RPM) I can run the CPU stable at 3.85GHz with 1.575V. I prefer not to push it that hard (and the fan is a bit noisy at full tilt) in the interest of longevity, at 3.6GHz it only needs 1.45V.
