My ExxonMobil credit card was stolen and used many times

Haven't used the Exxon card in a month, correct. I don't always go to Exxon, and even when I do I don't always use the card.

I dont know about most places but most gas stations have to direct a camera at the car that is at the pump. It would be interesting to know if they actually have the guy on a camera let alone multiple times to prove it was the same person using the card.

A couple of years ago, someone somehow got use of my account info and went on a spending spree, the weird thing is that I didn't lose my card. Then, come bill time, I receive an 8.5 x 11 envelope w/ 9 fu*king pages of charges on it! :Q I called the CC company and they took care of the charges, but I never heard a peep from them since!

Generally, they only check if the charges seem odd. if you are in an East Coast city and use the card, and then an hour or two later the card is ued on the other side of the country, it may trigger a fraud alert. Same thing with TYPES of transactions made. If the card is used minimally and then the card is suddenly used for thousands of dollars within a few hours, it is also looked at as fraud. This guy seems to have used it for normal purchases (gas, etc) on multiple trips to the same station. That probably would not trigger any alerts.
