My Favorite Car: Ferrari 550 Spyder

I never really liked the 550...doesn't look "Ferrari" enough to me. And what's with the ugly ass rims and a ride height that looks jacked up by at least 2 inches?

The 550 Spyder does look nicer compared to the Maranello.

Ferrari is going to built only 448 of them, and all of them are already sold.

Isn't it wonderful to be the marketing dept of Ferrari?? You don't have ANY work to do.

The only modern Ferrari I like is the 355 and 360. However, my favorite ferrari would be the classic 250 GTO, the F40, and the Dino.

I've always thought that the F550 looked like a C4 vette with a camero SS hood, but if you go far enough back alot of cars shared the styling cues that bring that out. People thought the Pontiac Grand Prix's grills looked like BMW, but it was really just converging evolution (pontiac got narrower, BMW got shorter, they ended up squarish)

American companies have always take styling cues from Ferrari. This goes all the way back to the very old corvette. Even japanese companies stole styling cues from Ferrari (the classic Toyota 2000GT, the Ferrari 250 GTO)

As for BMW and Pontiac grand prix, BMW has had their kidney grille as early as the 1930s, so .. it's kind of obvious who's copying who.

Cause Americans Car companies are all about making cars for cheap, and selling em at relatively reasonable prices no matter what their reputation is. The more the sell, the bigger they get, and the bigger they get, the more people think, &quot;Oh Gee, they're the biggest car maker in the world...many people must like them...I guess I'll buy one too.&quot;

Foreign Cars rock, because they're all about quality, and satisfying the driver...well not the late, and hugely unloved, '90 Pontiac LeMans, aka Kimchee Burner.
