Put together my system in mid-December, no problems whatsoever for about four months. This past Saturday morning, I roll out of bed and turn on my computer to get started on a paper.
Or so I thought. The motherboard wouldn't post.
So I go over to a friend's house (she also has an AMD 64 S939 system), we do some tests, turns out both my cpu and mobo are toast.
I've built about two dozen AMD/Asus systems for friends & acquiantances, and owned three AMD/Asus systems personally (I still have an XP 2500+ & A7N8X Deluxe that's been going strong for over three years).
Needless to say, I'm rather shocked.
So far, however, both companies have been very easy to contact and navigate through their RMA procedure. I'm just hoping now they approve my RMAs and don't try to tell me what happened is my fault!
Anyone here ever had their Asus or AMD RMAs denied?
Of note, who among the mobo/cpu manufacturers do you think have the best RMA policies?
