I picked it up at BB last week for 9.99, I didn't even know that CC had it for the same price.

My guess is that it was only in last week's ad as a special introductory price.

Even if you can't find it for 9.99, I would say that it's worth more (and I think a lot of people in this forum would agree with me).

Wish I knew about this earlier but heck it's one the the best albums I've ever heard. I listened to a few samples on the web and purchased the cd the next day for the full price of $16. Totally worth it. This is my first cd in about 7 years and I've been listening to it everyday since. It doesn't seem like many people know of evanescence *shrug*but they're missing out.

Thanks for the tip!! I hadn't realized the CD had come out this week. I may stop by K-mart on the way home to see if they have it on sale.

The "cool" thing is that the lead singer is from the town I live in (just outside Little Rock, AR), and the rest of the band members are from Little Rock. Heck, even if I don't like the music all that much, I should buy the CD just to support a local band trying to make it big!!

Kudos to all of you for supporting them!! Viva Central Arkansas! Heheh.

On ebay it's going for $127.50 right now (honestly)

They only made 2500 copies, so those that are out there are EXTREMELY expensive - but the tracks can be found on WinMX pretty easily (not unethical at all in my mind since they only released 2500 copies)

I agree this is just the new "pop" sound. You could put her vocals over Country, R&B, Metal and Hip Hop and it would all sound the same. I hate this so called "accessible" crap, it is pop period! To call this alternative, rap or anything else is pure delusion.
