Not cool man. We do use fingers and water, but a generous splashing of water. That way, you can be sure that there is not even a hint of shit stuck to your ass. And we use liquid soap to wash our hands after. If shit on your fingers seems disgusting to you, so does it to us. We're people too, you know. And frankly, i think not cleaning ur ass with water after a dump is very unhygienic. I dont know how you can just use some toilet paper and wipe it off.
There. I said it. I know i'm going to get a lot of flak for this, but it had to be said. It is my personal opinion though, cos i dont know the advantages/disadvantages of wiping my ass with toilet paper.
No, you have a point. Using TP you don't actually TOUCH your feces (hopefully), but you DO by the nature of the process leave a tiny bit of it smeared all over your crack until the next time you take a shower. Think of THAT next time you climb into a public pool.
I guess some people probably do secondary wipes with moistened TP...but not many.
Washing with soap & water after using the toilet is a much more important hygienic step than how you wipe.
Me, I grew up using TP, so that's what I do. But I understand your point.
Now back to the Indian food...one that isn't quite as commonly mentioned, but excellent, is Malai Kofta.
India makes about the only vegetarian food that tastes as good (or even better!) than non-vegetarian food. Especially samosas...I feel sorry for people who order the meat samosas just because they're carnivores. So am I, but the veggie ones are just plain better tasting. Especially with a hint of tamarind sauce and mint chutney.
