i took my friend to dinner last night. Anyways, afterwards we went to rite aid since she said she thought she might have to buy some stuff . She bought a toothbrush among other things. She was really happy about her toothbrush after looking at all of them. Like seriously happy she had bought a nice looking toothbrush.

I know girls where it takes like a $400 purse to make them that happy.

well, she tried to pay for my dinner too saying i was a starving apartment dweller, but i didnt let her. i'm still pretty sure she's with her boyfriend (darn...) , even though i think he only bothers to talk to her maybe twice a week or so (he goes to same school) because well i guess she doesnt care from what i remember her telling me. like i said the ultimate in low maintanence

That's EXACTLY the kind of girl you want. The girls who are high maintenance aren't worth it, usually.

I think it's pretty sad, though, the precedent that most girls set b/c they expect a lot out of their men. It makes the rest of us look bad.

My fiance of six years is the same. It does not take much to make her happy. I gave her a card on our anniversary and she thanked me profusely thinking that was her gift.:Q When I break out the ring her jaw nearly drops. That is the type of thing i'm talking about with my woman, she's awesome.

Although I should think about moving this marriage thing along since we have been together for eight years and been engaged for six,you guys know how it is when you start using the big C word you start to get scared and begin procrastinating, even though there is not a single thing I dislike about her marriage still kind of scares and intimidates me if you know what i'm saying. I think within the next year we will do it though. Thank god she is patient with me and knows she is my world. She knows i'm just a bit scared of the whole marriage thing and that it has nothing to do with her as before I met her my views on marriage were that of a bachelor who never intended on getting married no matter what. Anyways, i'm rambling but just thought i'd share my experiences.

BTW, Don't flame me for my life decisions either, because it is not your decision to make and if she can wait then you certainly can..

$400 for a purse? Wow, and I felt extravagant for spending $30.00 for two shirts the other day..... sheesh. The first new clothes I bought in a while. I prefer shopping at places thrift stores for my clothes most of the time, you get some pretty neat stuff, and its really cheap!

Actually, I think girls like that only serve to make us look better in the end. By the time guys are done with the high maintenance ones, we look pretty damn good by comparison.
