LOL; if he were older I wouldn't be as concerned, but given that he's using one of the absolute strongest steroids (normally only used for cattle IIRC) on Earth at the age of sixteen is rather bad.

Oral steroids are harder for the liver to metabolize causing direct chemical damage that injectable ones do not however, long term use of either kind can lead to tumors in the liver. Why would anyone take a chance on long term health problems that they won't find out about till it's too late?

I'm sorry, and I don't mean to call you out or anything, but safe steroid usage is not going to cause any of what you typed. Aside from acne and some very minor things, the athlete should be healthy. Abuse is the problem. This is why athletes have educated trainers.
