ah i went to a bar a few weeks ago. while there a guy i knew from highschool came in with some college guys. they were all dressed like "wiggers" they were dressed like it and acting like it.

I should say this guy is maybe 33. hanging out with kids maybe 21-22 or so. it was kinda sad that he was trying to relive his youth. He kept buying rounds of beer for everone at the table all night also.

First, granted, you didn't Say African-American, and neither did the other poster, but I believe the implication is there.

Honestly, we are all Americans if you live in America, Espescially if you where born in America. Fine claim African-American if you came from Africa, and got citizen ship in America, and you hold a dual citizen ship. But if you where born here, and only have citizen ship to America, then you are fricken American, drop the damn race identifier already. Same goes for every other indentifier, Hispanic, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, etc. And stereotypes do exist for a reason. Because the stereotype is based on observed behavior of different cultures.

The reason racism is still so alive in America, is we as a culture refuse to join as one country. We are so proud of our diversity as a nation, that we let it get in our way of being one country. Cultural segregation is alive, though not forced by the Government.
