So I have a 3GS, but I'm only on day #2.5 of using it and I'm still trying to figure out what I think of it.

What are your thoughts on this infamous "overheating" issue? What do you think of the battery life? Is it better? How is the call quality? What about this other issue - which I think I've seen - where the number of "bars" changes really quickly?

I don't think the overheating issue is one, actually. I read that it was heat in conjunction with certain cases. I haven't experienced any overheating and I have played games on it for maybe 20 minutes at a time.

The battery life is better than the 3G for me. I've had all the iPhones and the call quality on the 3GS is exactly the same as the 3G. Seems like there was no upgrade to the phone at all, but in my area, ATT's coverage is pretty good.
