As a man though, I would have a hard time accepting money like that from my wifes family (unless it was inheritance), as a matter of pride.
It's really her money now, it's not like her parents or grandparents are sending them a monthly check. At least I don't think they are.

Indoor racketball/basketball court:

And I ran out of hosting room at bbzzdd.

The house is 18,000 square feet, 1/10th of a mile long. 100mb of pictures and I still don't have pics of all of it.

Denise Richards lives at the bottom of the hill behind his house. I watched that house be built.

Dang, that is overkill

I would love to have a two story library study though, but where are the dang books?

You're a better man than I if put in this situation. Of course I would be driving my Ferrari to my summer home thinking that, so I doubt it would bother me much.

I said before in the thread, I think she's pretty, but I wouldn't call her hot.

My morals and/or principles are way too high to allow me to allow my wife to spend that kind of money for family property and whatnot. Would never happen.

Ahem...Yeah right.

ThePresence,
Sounds like your jealous.

Get over what other people have. Just learn to be happy with what you have. If you need a perspective lesson, go to Africa some time.

Wow, that is amazing. If I had friends/family like that, I'd feel too ashamed/embarrassed/inferior to ever invite them over to my own place.

He's actually very down to earth and unassuming. We grew up in the same 2400 SF middle class home in the valley. A home destroyed by 4 boys.

If you ever met him you'd never guess he was that wealthy.

"the valley" as in San Fernando Valley?

"The Valley" is still a very afluent neighborhood BTW. Not over the top wealthy, but I would say Upper Middle class.

It is good that your brother is a down to earth type of person though, but by whose standards?

**EDIT**
Anyways, that is one hellavuh house! Congrats to your brother for doing well financially in life!

I have no problem with anyone getting all they can out of life.

Speaking of garages, what does he drive?

He's very conservative when it comes to cars. He's not much of a car guy which kinda annoys me and my other brother.

They have:
*A Yukon XL with the interior customized by a limo shop with every geeky gadget in it you can think of.
*A 600SL
*A Maserati coupe (with the paddle shifters  )
*A Volvo SUV for the kids and nanny to drive

And coming up is a Maserati Quattroporte since "everyone and their brother has an SL in CA."

They also have a large customized commercial truck for their rocketeering.

Yes, I know what you're thinking and we've told him. He doesn't care. A car is a way to get from A to B to him.

Edit:

If I had a little brother building a house like that, there would be a room for me filled with Eleiko, Ivanko and Ironmind products.

He has two full gyms. You only see half his bedroom. The other half has an office and a multi-station gym along with a few pieces of cardio equipment.

Near the racketball court on the other end of the house under the garages is a free weight room he added for his kids and me. (Yes, he actually thought of me and asked me what I liked)

He's a very6 fit guy himself, though he likes running far more than I do, so he's very thin.

If 4 kids to haul around on a daily basis and take on road trips is "no shame" I guess he does.

BTW, his other cars get no batter milage than the Yukon.

"The Valley" is the San Fernando Valley. And most of it is a gang infested sh!thole now.

Parts of it were bad when we grew up, but it's really gone down hill since.

He's down to earth by anyone's standards. Inside we're the same middle class kids we were 35 years ago.
